1. Our Commitment to Accuracy

Accuracy is fundamental to responsible crime reporting. We correct errors promptly and transparently.

2. Requesting a Correction

Email media@uncutrawcam.com with the URL of the report, the information you believe is inaccurate, the correct information, and supporting documentation where available. We aim to respond within three business days.

3. Case Status Updates

Criminal cases change. If you are the subject of a report and charges were dismissed or dropped, you were acquitted, your record was expunged or sealed, or charges were substantially reduced — contact us with documentation such as a court order, docket entry, or attorney letter.

We will update or remove the report. This applies regardless of how old the report is.

4. How We Handle Corrections

  • Minor errors — typos and formatting are corrected without a published note.
  • Factual errors — corrected with a dated correction notice explaining the change.
  • Significant errors — a clear correction is published at the top of the article.
  • Removal — where a case was dismissed, resulted in acquittal, or the record was expunged, we remove or update the report at the subject's request.

5. Errors Originating in Source Material

Where an error originated with a law enforcement agency or source publication, we correct our report regardless. A source's error is not a reason to leave our page wrong.
