BEAVERTON, Ore. -- A wild road rage incident was caught on camera in Beaverton, Oregon.
Police released footage from the victims dash and rear view camera, showing a suspect allegedly following them.
"Hi, I have a disturbance that someone's following me," the victim tells police over the phone.
The suspect is seen driving erratically, swerving in front of their car and slamming the brakes.
The victim's wife can be heard screaming from the passenger seat.
Police say the couple saw the other driver reach into his coat several times like he had a gun.
Then, the driver begins to pursue them in reverse.
"Oh my god, this guy's crazy. He's driving in reverse right now, trying to follow me in reverse," the victim tells police over the phone.
Video shows the suspect flying down the road backwards.
Police say he drove like that for over a mile, and at one point he drove on the wrong side of the road.
The victim drove straight to the police station. Authorities then caught up with the suspect identified as 29-year-old Armin K. Hastings.
Police said they found a black airsoft gun in his pocket.
Hastings was booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of reckless driving and menacing, ABC affiliate KATU reported.
